Our Approach
At the heart of our approach are the principles of participation, learning and innovation.
To achieve this we apply and blend concepts from economics, social science, change management, systemic competitiveness and sound business management to develop and apply tools, methods and process that are customised and appropriate to local conditions and socio-economic dynamics.

The objective is to take complex academic principles and simplify them by creating dynamic learning environments that enable, and encourage, local people to be included and engaged in finding solutions and opportunities that are home grown and owned by them from the beginning.

The outcomes may not always meet the lofty ideals, or preconceived expectations of external consultants but, more importantly, they will be realistic and relevant to the people that matter most – those who will need to implement and nurture them internally over the long term.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world – indeed it is the only thing that ever has.”
- Margaret Mead
